Garbage will soon embark on their Happy Endings North American Fall Tour 2025. The meaning behind the name became clear on Wednesday when the band revealed in a social media post that the upcoming excursion will be their “last North American headline tour.”

Garbage — Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig — are celebrating 30 years as a band in 2025. The quartet recently released their eighth studio album, Let All That We Imagine Be The Light, and are gearing up for the lengthy jaunt supporting the record.

“Yesterday saw the commencement of rehearsals for our last North American headline tour. We haven’t played an extensive headline tour like this one in the States for almost a decade. If the truth be told, it is unlikely we will play many of the cities on this tour ever again,” Garbage began the note.

“We are going out on the road with the spectacular Starcrawler, fronted by superstar @arrowdewilde, who is one of the most exciting front people of her generation,” the band continued.

“We are going out in style and we hope you will join us. That’s life my friends. Nothing stays the same forever. Everything must change. All beautiful things come to an end. We love you,” ended the post attributed to “all of us in Garbage.”

Garbage kicks off the Happy Endings Tour on September 3 in Orlando. The trek will hit both coasts and many cities in between before it concludes on November 5 in Los Angeles.
