Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (OMF) returns to Florida’s idyllic Sunshine Grove for its milestone 10-year reunion March 19 – 22, 2026. In honor of the first OMF since 2023, organizers have collaborated with renowned British artist Nigel Waymouth, the visionary behind iconic psychedelic-era poster designs, to craft original artwork for the 2026 festival.
The artwork arrives as the independent music festival founded and produced by Soundslinger prepares to reveal its 2025 lineup in September. OMF promises to get “back to its roots, with headlining acts across electronic, rock, hip-hop, indie, and beyond.”
The partnership finds Waymouth returning to poster art for the first time in over 50 years, as he continues his lifelong celebration of peace, love and life in color. Nigel Waymouth’s history and creative process were documented in a new mini-documentary posted on the Okeechobee YouTube channel. Watch the feature below:

Nigel Waymouth’s work has influenced countless artists who have followed in his footsteps. Waymouth launched the now-legendary London boutique, Granny Takes A Trip, in 1966. He then forged a graphic design partnership with fellow artist Michael English under the moniker “Hapshash & The Coloured Coat.” The pair produced era-defining psychedelic poster art that captured the spirit of an entire generation for such acts as Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Who and many others.
Over the past 55 years, Waymouth has focused on painting and portraiture. Many of his works are now included in distinguished public and private collections. The London-based artist’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2026 poster marks his first original music poster art since the 1970s.
“Okee reminded me of something: not the scene, but the spirit,” proclaimed Nigel Waymouth. “I felt it was time for a little revival, to show the next generation what their forefathers have produced. With this piece and all of my art, I hope to remind everyone to always give peace a chance!”
“I wanted to create a poster that would last for eternity, and bring the art back into the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, while providing a platform that highlights talented artists,” explained Soundslinger chairman Rechulski.
“That’s where the initial thought came from. Nowadays, generally speaking, lineup posters are inundated with artist names, and one cannot appreciate the art. I wanted to mark the moment by having a different artist interpret the art for the festival every year, starting with Nigel Waymouth. The whole process has been a lot of fun, and that’s what it’s all about,” Rechulski added.
Signed, limited edition Nigel Waymouth OMF 2026 prints are on sale at the festival’s online store.
