Grateful Dead/Furthur bassist Phil Lesh brought the latest version of his Phil Lesh & Friends project to the Terrapin Crossroads Grate Room stage on Sunday night. Lesh was joined by guitarists Scott Metzger and Anders Osborne, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer Tony Leone for the two-set performance. Metzger, a member of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Bustle In Your Hedgerow, Wolf! and RANA, made his Phil & Friends debut at the show.

Sunday’s setlist mixed beloved Grateful Dead classics such as “Truckin’,” “Sugaree,” “Saint Stephen” and “Eyes Of The World” with a few choice covers including Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World” and David Crosby’s “Almost Cut My Hair.” Osborne even led the ensemble through a version of his own “Windows” in the first set.
