Valerie June Performs For CBS This Morning ‘Saturday Sessions’

Singer-songwriter Valerie June was featured on CBS This Morning’s Saturday Sessions this past Saturday, March 20. June led her group through three songs from her recently released album, The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers.

Valerie assembled her band in a New York studio to perform “Two Roads,” “You And I” and “Call Me A Fool” for Saturday Sessions. All three songs appear on the follow-up to 2017’s The Order of Time which was released on March 12.

June grew up in Memphis and relocated to Brooklyn. The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers features 14 tracks with Carla Thomas contributing to “African Proverb” and “Call Me A Fool.” Valerie co-produced the LP with Jack Splash.
