Unknown Mortal Orchestra are set to release their third album, Multi-Love, through Jagjaguwar records May 26. Their second full-length release on Jagjaguwar follows up their 2013 sophomore effort, II. The Portland-based trio lead by frontman and multi-instrumentalist Ruban Nielson have shared a video directed by Lionel Williams for “Multi-Love,” the title track from their forthcoming album.
In conjunction with the release of the video, the band –which inludes bassist Jacob Portrait and drummer Riley Geare –also shared a downloadable video game app version of the video for Mac, PC and Unity Pro Source File.

“It is meant to represent the vacuum of space by impressing upon inter-dimensional unfolding, immaterial objects, and time-driven reverberation of events,” said Williams of the video he directed. “The virtual space allows for most 3D objects to trail in time – based on the directions one moves. You can construct & paint the objects in space to stretch them in any direction, to create infinitely vast compositional spaces.”
