Umphrey’s McGee will issue a 12″ picture disc featuring two tracks from ‘it’s not us’ on Record Store Day Black Friday, November 24. Here’s more details from RecordStoreDay.com:

The first single, “The Silent Type”, is classic UM: it’s infections riff rock, the musical equivalent of the record’s unique shape, sawing through your turntable. Side B features “Looks”, an uptempo driving composition penned by virtuoso guitarist Jake Cinninger.

One thousand copies of the 12″ custom die-cut record are expected to be available at independent record stores.

Umphrey’s McGee has announced the upcoming release of their 11th studio album. The band will issue it’s not us on January 12 and they’ve confirmed several new tour dates in support of the record.

UM’s 2018 tour will begin on January 11 with a show in Pittsburgh. The night of the release of it’s not us will feature the first of two shows in Cincinnati. Umphrey’s McGee will then head to New York City’s The Beacon Theatre for performances on January 19, 20 and 21, with the last night also coinciding with the group’s 20th anniversary of their first show in South Bend, Indiana in 1998. The tour will also see stops in New Haven, Connecticut on January 25 ahead of two nights in Philadelphia on January 26 and 27 and a night in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania on January 28.

February will find the band playing in Columbus, Ohio on the 1st followed by a two-night stand in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 2 and 3. After a few days off the tour resumes in Washington D.C. on February 15 before they move to Asheville, North Carolina for shows on February 16 and 17. The It’s Not Us Tour is set to wrap on February 18 in Tampa, Florida.

Support acts for the tour will be revealed at a later date. Pre-sale and umVIP tickets go on sale starting on Monday, October 23. General public onsale for tickets stats on Friday, October 27.
