Umphrey’s McGee Announces 2018 – 2019 New Year’s Run

Umphrey’s McGee are bringing their annual New Year’s Run back to Atlanta. The Tabernacle will host the band for four nights December 28 – 31.

The band held their NYE festivities in Chicago between December 31, 2000 and 2010. UM then rang in 2011 in St. Louis before alternating between Atlanta and Denver over the next four years. A return to Chicago was in store for the 2016 – 2017 installment and then Denver once again hosted the band to start 2018. The Tabernacle hosted 18 past Umphrey’s concerts including a run that spanned December 30, 2014 – January 3, 2015.

An announcement from Umphrey’s mentions the band “lined up some incredible special guests for the run” with more information expected soon. UM’s ticket pre-sale begins via Umphrey’s Ticketing and umVIP on Wednesday, July 25 at 11 a.m. ET ahead of the general on-sale Friday, July 27 at 11 a.m. ET. VIP packages include options for early entry and reserved balcony seating and all feature a private soundcheck show, private bar and bathrooms, exclusive UM gear, autographed screen print and more.
