Tyler Childers released “Oneida,” the second single from his forthcoming studio album, Snipe Hunter. Both “Oneida” and the previously shared “Nose On The Grindstone” are longtime live favorites that arrived accompanied by live performance videos.

Produced by Rick Rubin with additional production from Childers and Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn, Snipe Hunter is due on July 25 via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. The 13-track follow-up to 2023’s Rustlin’ In The Rain is mainly comprised of brand new songs in addition to the studio versions of “Oneida” and “Nose On The Grindstone.”

The Kentucky singer-songwriter initially put out “Oneida” in 2016 on his second Red Barn Radio collection. Childers has performed the tale of pining for an older woman live over a dozen times since.
