Ty Segall And The Muggers Appear on ‘The Late Show’

Last evening’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert included a performance by Ty Segall. Backed by a band called The Muggers, the guitarist performed a song from his recently issued album Emotional Mugger.
Released via the Drag City record label last month, Emotional Mugger includes the song “Candy Sam” which was played last night. The Muggers feature regular Segall collaborator Mikal Cronin on bass, keyboardist Cory Hanson and drummer Evan Burrows of Wand, guitarist Emmett Kelly of The Cairo Gang and guitarist King Tuff (Kyle Thomas).
