Trey Anastasio Releases Ghosts Of The Forest ‘Beneath A Sea Of Stars’ Live Album

Trey Anastasio has unveiled a recording of his Ghosts Of The Forest project’s final concert on digital streaming services. Ghosts Of The Forest: Beneath A Sea Of Stars features the sextet’s entire show from April 20, 2019 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley.

Ghosts Of The Forest saw Anastasio backed by Phish drummer Jon Fishman, Broadway star Celisse and longtime Trey Anastasio Band members Jennifer Hartswick, Tony Markellis and Ray Paczkowski. The band played the same songs in the same sequence over the course of their nine-concert tour. By the time Ghosts Of The Forest got to the Greek, they had the material down. Phish went on to perform a number of Ghosts Of The Forest songs during their recent tour.
