Today, both Weezer and the duo of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross shared new outer space themed songs. The rock band and the regular collaborating pair each shared new recordings made in celebration of NASA’s Juno Mission.
Released days before the Juno spacecraft reaches the orbit of Jupiter, the songs celebrate the conclusion of the five-year journey to reach the solar system’s largest planet which is expected to happen on July 4. Reznor and Ross’ “Juno” clocks in at over eight minutes of atmospheric soundscapes. Weezer’s three minute cut “I Love The U.S.A.” showcases “interstellar electronics, dazzling lyrical detail, and a throwback guitar solo.”
