Treasure Island Music Festival is thrilled to announce the additions of
Joanna Newsom and
Wild Belle to the Sunday lineup of their sixth year running. Newsom, a native to northern California, very rarely plays at festivals, and has played only a handful of shows in 2012, making her a must-see at this year’s TIMF. The inclusion of up-and-comers Wild Belle on the Sunday bill solidifies Treasure Island Music Festival’s reputation as a great place to hear the very best in music right now.
As previously announced, Saturday October 13 will be headlined by Girl Talk, making him the first artist to ever return to Treasure Island, while Sunday October 14 will be headlined by The xx, who will be making their only U.S. festival appearance in 2012. The lineup also includes Public Enemy (marking their 25th Anniversary), M83, The Presets, Grimes, Gossip (making their first stop back in the Bay Area since 2009), and more below.
