Jack White just unleashed a pair of new singles one day ahead ahead of his sixth appearance on Saturday Night Live. The recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee dropped “G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico” via his Third Man Records label on all major streaming services.
The tracks mark the first new music from White since the release of his No Name album in 2024. Jack White is backed on the tracks by his longtime live band: keyboardist Bobby Emmet, bassist Dominic Davis and drummer Patrick Keeler.
Jack White preaches over a propulsive beat on “G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs.” The bluesy romp features one anthemic lick after another and includes bass and drum breakdowns.
White throws down a fiery riff to lay the groundwork for “Derecho Demonico.” The guitarist employs wild distorted tones as he shreds throughout the infectious song, with Emmet delivering a powerful organ solo.
Limited-edition Tri-Color and Black 7″ vinyl go on sale tomorrow, April 4 at ThirdManRecords.com and at the label’s brick-and-mortar outlets in Nashville, Detroit and London. The Black 7″ will be available at independent record stores across the globe next week.
