Update (November 4): Saving Country Music confirmed that Todd Snider was arrested on Sunday, November 2. According to the report, Snider was “arrested for suspicion of criminal trespass, threat of violence, and disorderly conduct — two Class B misdemeanors and an infraction — at the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City where Snider was being treated after the assault.”
“After receiving treatment and being officially discharged, police say Snider became belligerent, and demanded further treatment,” the article continued. “Snider then allegedly cursed at the hospital staff before being told to leave. An employee told Snider to not return to the facility, but Snider returned and allegedly threatened a member of the staff, saying, ‘I will kick your ass.’”
Saving Country Music also pointed to a report by local news outlet KSL.com, which stated:
“South Salt Lake Police Department said in a statement Monday that its officers were called out to investigate ‘a report of an alleged assault of a 59-year-old male’ Saturday about 3:40 p.m. at the Commonwealth Room.
“However, limited information about the incident was obtained, the department said. ‘At this time, the exact location and details surrounding this incident are unclear,’ police said in the release.”
