The War On Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel was a guest on the most recent episode of Ernie Ball: String Theory. The web series “explores the sonic origins of some of music’s most innovative players.”
Over the course of the 14-minute segment, Granduciel shares stories about buying his first guitar and how he fell in love with the instrument, interspersed with him noodling on both an electric and acoustic guitar. Additionally, The War On Drugs leader also talks about the weight of guitar strings he prefers for his style of playing, as well as his approach to making a record.
