The Rolling Stones continue to roll out video previewing their GRRR Live! album, due out on February 10 via Mercury Studios. The latest is the legendary rockers performing the poignant classic “Wild Horses” in Newark, New Jersey in 2012 on their 50 & Counting Tour
The Rolling Stones previously previewed the December 15, 2012 concert, which is set to stream worldwide on February 2, with a video of “I Know It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It).” The band announced the live record documenting the guest-filled concert with a trailer video in November.
The latest video sees The Stones on “Wild Horses.” While the tune was captured at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in 1969, one of the band’s most iconic songs wouldn’t be released for two years due to legal issues. “Wild Horses” finally appeared on The Stones’ landmark album Sticky Fingers in 1971.
