Ziggy Marley Brings ‘Brightside’ Standout ‘Racism Is A Killa’ To ‘Kimmel’
The track appears on the reggae artist’s first album in eight years.

Ziggy Marley was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The son of reggae legend Bob Marley delivered his new song, “Racism Is A Killa.”
The track appears on Marley’s 2026 album, Brightside, his first studio effort in eight years. Ziggy is set to hit the road with Warren Haynes and Gov’t Mule this fall on their Dreaming The Same Dream Tour.
Marley was in Hollywood yesterday to play Brightside standout “Racism Is A Killa.” Ziggy spoke about the song in an interview with American Songwriter.
“The name of that song is giving me a problem. The TV shows, they don’t want me to sing that song. It’s like, we know it’s not a commercial idea, but we’re like you know what F it bro.”
“I say some serious things, but it feel happy,” Marley added.
