The People & Scene At Phish Magnaball Festival

From the time the gates opened on Thursday through the final cars departing on Monday over 30,000 Phish fans were treated to a wonderful weekend at Watkins Glen International race track in Watkins Glen, New York. Not only was the tenth major Phish festival a massive success musically, it was also an incredible experience filled with gatherings of old friends, art installations, Phish-themed food and beverage options and activities such as game shows and pop-up performances from marching bands and bluegrass outfits. The fantastic weather all weekend long didn’t hurt either. A sign at the band’s 2003 festival, It, famously read “Our intent is all for your delight.” Once again the intent of the Phish organization led to the delight of the band’s fans.
