The Hold Steady kicked off their annual Massive Nights residency at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on Wednesday. The rockers honored late guitarist Wilko Johnson with a Dr. Feelgood cover toward the end of the concert.

Influential guitarist Wilko Johnson passed away on November 21. Helping to found Dr. Feelgood in 1971, the UK band released their debut album Down By The Jetty in 1974, which included the standout “All Through The City.” The Hold Steady’s Craig Finn led the band on “All Through The City” as the penultimate song of The Hold Steady’s Massive Nights opener.
