The Garcia Project Releases ‘Spirit’ Tribute To Jerry Garcia

Jerry Garcia tribute band The Garcia Project recently released an album entitled Spirit: A Loving Tribute to Jerry Garcia and the Spiritual Songs He Performed. The record is a nod to the gospel and spiritual music that influenced the Grateful Dead guitarist.

The album features Garcia Project leaders Kat Walkerson and Mik Bondy as well as an all-star cast of musicians including vocals from renowned folk singer and Dead collaborator Maria Muldaur, the legendary Peter Rowan of Old & In The Way, former Yonder Mountain String Band mandolinist Jacob Jolliff, Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band’s Jason Crosby and more.
