The Flaming Lips Share ‘The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live At Red Rocks With The Colorado Symphony Orchestra’

The Flaming Lips‘ first-ever official live album, The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live At Red Rocks With The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, arrived today. The record documents the psychedelic rock band’s May 26, 2016 performance of their 1999 album, The Soft Bulletin, with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at the iconic venue.

The band for the 2016 Red Rocks performance included Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins, Derek Brown, Jake Ingalls, Matt Kirksey and Nicholas Ley who teamed up with the Colorado Symphony led by renowned conductor André de Ridder. The Flaming Lips, Scott Booker and longtime Lips collaborator Dave Fridmann produced the record.
