The Avett Brothers performed a concert Friday night at The Fillmore Detroit. The group began their show with a tribute to Leonard Cohen who passed away at age 82 on Thursday.
The Avett Brothers took the stage in Detroit last evening and promptly treated the crowd to a moving cover of Cohen’s beloved “Hallelujah.” The rest of the show featured selections from across the band’s career, including a number of cuts from their 2016 album True Sadness such as “Ain’t No Man,” “I Wish I Was,” “Satan Pulls the Strings” and “No Hard Feelings.”
