By Scott Bernstein Jan 24, 2018 • 11:51 am PST

While Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh has been focusing on performances with The Terrapin Family Band in recent years, he has found time for Phil Lesh & Friends concerts in January. In addition to previously announced shows, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California will host two Phil & Friends performances at the end of the month.
Phil Lesh & Friends will play Terrapin on Tuesday, January 30 and Wednesday, January 31. Lesh will be joined by multi-instrumentalists Karl Denson, Robert Randolph, Barry Sless and Chris Gelbuda as well as guitarist Scott Metzger and drummer John Molo. Gelbuda will be making his Phil & Friends debut, while Molo was a member of Lesh’s famed Phil Lesh Quintet ensemble.

Tickets for both shows are on sale now here. In addition, Terrapin’s Grate Room will host Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe on February 2. Tonight, Terrapin Crossroads hosts the first in a series of three Phil & Friends shows with varying lineups.
