Telluride Jazz Festival 2024 Lineup Features The Meters Celebration, Christian McBride, Angélique Kidjo & More

Dumpstaphunk will team with George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli and Cyril Neville for the “Rejuvenation 50! Celebration of The Meters” set.

Scenic Telluride Town Park in the heart of the Colorado mountain town will host the 47th Telluride Jazz Festival on August 9 – 11, 2024. The three-day event boasts an eclectic 2024 lineup headlined by an all-star celebration of The Meters, jazz icon Christian McBride and world music star Angélique Kidjo.

The Rejuvenation 50! Celebration of The Meters performance will feature Dumpstaphunk joined by special guests and Meters members bassist George Porter Jr., guitarist Leo Nocentelli and percussionist Cyril Neville. Honoring the 50th anniversary of The Meters’ 1974 album Rejuvenation, the set will be a reprise of a similar show coming to New Orleans on May 2.

Other artists set to play the 2024 Telluride Jazz Festival include Antibalas, Marco Benevento, Say She She, Cool Cool Cool, Takuya Kuroda, Sexmob, New Breed Brass Band, Karina Rykman and more. The festival will also present “A Lavalanche Tribute To Mike Enriquez” featuring Kevin McCarthy and local youngsters in the Telluride Student All-Stars Jazz Ensemble.

Tickets including 3-Day Passes and Single-Day Passes go on sale next Thursday, February 1 at 10 a.m. MT.
