Telluride Bluegrass Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Additions & Daily Schedule

The 44th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival will be held on June 15 – 18 in the Rocky Mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Organizers have confirmed a number of additional acts on the lineup of this year’s event.

Among the the newly added performers are Norah Jones, Jason Mraz & His Superband, Margo Price, Fruition, Rayland Baxter, Parker Millsap and We The People featuring Abigail Washburn & Friends offering a special gospel set. Additionally, Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna bassist Jack Casady will perform as a special guest with Peter Rowan Dharma Blues.

The 2017 Telluride Bluegrass Festival lineup also features Sam Bush Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Dispatch, Hot Rize, the Jerry Douglas Band and Brandi Carlile. There will also be a performance by The Travelin’ McCourys featuring Dierks Bentley and Chris Thile will open the festivities with a solo set and later perform with Bela Fleck and with Punch Brothers.. Additionally, Bush, Fleck, Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Stuart Duncan and Bryan Sutton will form the Telluride House Band.
