Renée Fleming and Béla Fleck will present “The Fiddle and the Drum, featuring My Bluegrass Heart” at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this summer. The all-new collaboration between the legendary soprano and famed banjo player is among the lineup additions for this year’s event, which will take place June 18 – 21 in the bucolic mountain town of Telluride, Colorado.
While Béla Fleck is a Telluride Bluegrass regular, he was noticeably absent from the initial 2026 lineup. Turns out organizers Planet Bluegrass were waiting for the moment to announce the banjo wiz’s return. “We thought we knew all the tricks up Bela’s sleeve by now, but here he comes with a new collaboration to blow our socks off in such a deep and beautiful way that you’d never expect it,” noted Planet Bluegrass’ Craig Ferguson.
Maggie Antone, Noeline Hofmann, Clay Street Unit, Boy Golden, Rett Madison and Dallahan have also been added to the 2026 Telluride Bluegrass lineup. Additionally, the festival will host a performance from classical Americana supertrio Lark, Roman and Meyer.
The newly announced acts join an already stacked lineup headlined by Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gregory Alan Isakov and Larkin Poe. Others already on the bill include Shakey Graves, Sam Bush Band, Flatland Cavalry, Greensky Bluegrass, Punch Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, Watchhouse Duo, Leftover Salmon, Sierra Hull and more.
Along with main stage sets, the festival will present intimate workshop performances at Elks Park, late-night indoor NightGrass concerts at venues across town and pickin’ in campgrounds and condos ‘til dawn.
