The Tedeschi Trucks Band‘s 2020 Wheels Of Soul tour will also feature St. Paul and The Broken Bones and Gabe Dixon. The sixth annual run spans five weeks starting in the TTB’s hometown of Jacksonville on June 26 and hits more than 20 cities before concluding at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on July 31 and August 1. Dixon is aboard for double duty as he will open each night with his trio before joining the TTB for their headlining sets.
The tour begins at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville on June 26. From there, the Wheels Of Soul visits Alabama, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Connecticut, Georgia and Indiana ahead of the finales at Red Rocks. Additional dates will be announced soon.
“We’ve talked about having St. Paul and The Broken Bones out with us before — their sound is fantastic and certainly a natural fit for Wheels of Soul. And we enjoy the fun of touring and collaborating with another big band” said guitarist Derek Trucks in a statement. “Adding Gabe to the bill was a no brainer. He’s insanely talented and it will be a privilege to be able to showcase what he can do.”
Tickets for most dates go on sale this Friday, December 13.
