Derek & Susan Down Under: Tedeschi Trucks Band Details Spring 2024 Tour Dates In Australia
The group’s first trip to Australia in eight years includes headlining concerts in Melbourne and Sydney and two nights at the Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to Australia next spring for the first time since 2016. The 12-piece ensemble led by Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks will play two nights at the Byron Bay Bluesfest music festival before traveling to Melbourne and Sydney for headlining shows.
The TTB made their Byron Bay Bluesfest debut in 2011. Susan and Derek brought the group back to the long-running Easter Weekend event at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm in New South Wales two years later and then again most recently in 2016. Both the 2013 and 2016 trips included shows in other Australian cities.

The 2024 Byron Bay Bluesfest hosts the Tedeschi Trucks Band on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. Next up is a concert at The Palais Theatre in Melbourne on Wednesday, April 3. The trip concludes with a performance at Sydney’s State Theatre on April 5. Both the Melbourne and Sydney shows will see the TTB play two sets each night.
Tickets for the headlining shows go on sale to the general public on Thursday, October 19 at 12 p.m. AEST. A presale for Bluesfest Tours subscribers begins on Tuesday, October 17 at 12 p.m. AEST.

Tedeschi Trucks Band concludes their 2023 touring schedule with a trip to Japan later this month. The group recently announced a three-night run at New York City’s Beacon Theatre slated for February 29 – March 2, 2024.
