Tedeschi Trucks Band brought their 2025 Fall Tour to PNC Bank Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday. The show saw Little Feat members Bill Payne and Fred Tackett joining the group for “Leavin’ Trunk” and “Volunteered Slavery.”

Little Feat hopped on Tedeschi Trucks Band tour near Nashville last Wednesday. The legendary band also joined TTB for extended runs in 2024 which featured memorable sit-ins from Feat members.

The latest collab saw founding Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne and longtime guitarist Fred Tackett linking up with TTB 10 songs into their set in Charlotte for the Sleepy John Estes blues standard “Leavin’ Trunk.”

Payne manned TTB keyboardist Gabe Dixon‘s organ while Tackett added guitar alongside Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. The collab augmented TTB vocalist’s Mike Mattison bluesy vocals on the tune. Payne and Tackett stuck around for “Volunteered Slavery” by Rahsaan Roland Kirk.

The Charlotte show also saw Tedeschi Trucks Band offering additional favorites such as “Anyhow,” “Do I Look Worried,” “Midnight in Harlem” and “Bound for Glory.”
