Tedeschi Trucks Band brought their Deuces Wild Tour to Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Sunday. The band welcomed several guests and unveiled a Sonny Boy Williamson II cover in L.A.

TTB opened the concert with a complete performance of I Am the Moon: I. Crescent beginning with “Hear My Dear” followed by “Fall In,” “I Am The Moon,” and “Circles ‘Round The Sun.” The band capped the Crescent performance with guitarist Derek Trucks‘ instrumental odyssey, “Pasaquan.”

The set continued with guitarist/vocalist Susan Tedeschi’s solo cut, “Just Won’t Burn,” followed by “Part of Me.” TTB then debuted “Bring It On Home,” which contained elements of both the 1963 Sonny Boy Williamson II original, written by Willie Dixon, and Led Zeppelin’s 1969 version.

The guest parade then began on “The Sky Is Crying” with Cesar Rosas from East L.A. legends Los Lobos. Rosas reeled off a solo of his own and swapped licks with Derek and Susan on the Elmore James blues standard.

Tedeschi Trucks Band went it alone to close the set with Wet Willie’s “Keep On Smiling,” “I Want More” and “Beck’s Bolero.” Susan and keyboardist Gabe Dixon delivered a cover of the Bonnie Raitt-recorded, Mike Reid-written “I Can’t Make You Love Me” to kick off the encore. Tedeschi Trucks Band then welcomed West Coast tourmates Little Feat for covers of “Leaving Trunk,” led by vocalist Mike Mattison, and “Volunteered Slavery” to cap the concert and Little Feat’s tour finale with TTB.
