As he had previously, Porter joined the group on bass for a performance of The Meters’ “It Ain’t No Use.” Porter and The Meters originally recorded “It Ain’t No Use” for their 1974 album Rejuvenation. The legendary funk band recorded the album in New Orleans with fellow local legend, the late Allen Toussaint.
