Last night the Tedeschi Trucks Band lived a dream by making their debut at one of the country’s most prestigious venues – NYC’s Apollo Theatre. The band is celebrating Friday’s release of Let Me Get By. Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will also celebrate their third studio LP by taking over SiriusXM’s Jam On channel this weekend. Word of the takeover also comes with news the TTB has added a batch of new tour dates.

The Tedeschi Trucks Band have recently added four new shows to their Let Me Get By Tour. On May 7 and 8 the 12-piece ensemble will play the University At Buffalo’s Center For The Arts in Buffalo, New York. Then, on May 10, the group performs at Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse, New York. From there, the TTB heads to Hershey Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania for a show on May 12.

As for the takeover, Derek and Susan will guest DJ on SiriusXM’s Jam On (channel 29) all weekend long. Not only will Tedeschi and Trucks introduce listeners to every song on Let Me Get By, they will also spin music from other artists that keep them inspired on the road, in the studio and at home. The takeover starts on Friday, January 29 at 9 a.m. ET and will run through Sunday.
