Last week, TAUK premiered pro-shot video of their cover of Soundgarden‘s classic “Black Hole Sun” from their show at Pittsburgh’s Rex Theater on May 11. Now, the prog-rock act has released two additional covers from their Rex Theater performance: Stevie Wonder‘s “Superstition” and Jimi Hendrix‘s “Fire.”

TAUK’s cover of “Superstition” fell during the end of the second set, closing out the frame following a take on Sir Nebula‘s “Time’s Up.” With drummer Isaac Teel on lead vocals for the 1972 hit, the group worked through a hard-edged, nine-minute take on the iconic funk number. Later in the evening, the band closed out the show in full with a blistering rendition of Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire.” Following up the first encore song, Collisions‘ “Friction,” TAUK offered up a psychedelic performance of the 1967 number featuring a minimalist breakdown ahead of the tune’s soaring climax.
