TAUK Celebrates Release Of ‘Sir Nebula’ At Brooklyn Bowl

On Friday night, New York’s own TAUK played their first of two shows at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg to celebrate the release of Sir Nebula, the band’s third studio album. Fellow experimental jam acts lespecial and Gowanus kicked off the action. Dopapod drummer Neal “Fro” Evans and beatboxer Gene Shinozaki sat-in with lespecial before TAUK showed off their singular brand of instrumental, progressive jamming. TAUK’s set was heavy on songs from Sir Nebula, which was fitting considering the LP was released earlier in the day. The quartet also touched upon material from their first two albums and threw in a cover of “Eleanor Rigby” for good measure. Check out Scott Harris’s photos from a special night in Brooklyn:
