SUPER 400 & SPEAKEASY HEAT UP THE ROAD IN JULY

Super 400

The road heats up this summer when two rock & roll juggernauts team up for a July-long tour of the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest. Springfield, Missouri groove rockers, Speakeasy, will join forces with the Troy, New York power-trio Super 400, for a month-long jaunt in loud, unadulterated rock & roll. Kicking off in Super 400’s hometown, the tour will also feature additional stops in New York and Massachusetts before returning to Missouri for a show on Speakeasy’s home turf.

What started as a local buzz has transformed into a national phenomenon. Originally formed in the mid ’90s as a three-piece metal and hip-hop funk outfit, Speakeasy steadily grew into the progressive groove rock machine they are today. With chunky, percussive guitars, razor sharp harmonicas, on point four part harmonies, and danceable rhythms, the result is undeniably Speakeasy.

Super 400 is rock & roll the way it ought to be; loud, aggressive, jam-packed with energy and dripping with attitude. The trio spearheads the resurgence of good old fashion rock & roll in the new millennium. Chiseled from the likes of 60’s and 70’s classic rock, psychedelic funk, and powerful soul, Kenny Hohman (guitar/vocals), Lori Friday (bass), and Joe Daley (drums) march on in the spirit of our rocking forefathers.
