Sturgill Simpson Doubles Down On North Carolina Support With Hurricane Benefit Show
All proceeds from the October 21st concert at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre will support the North Carolina Relief Fund.

Sturgill Simpson announced a second show at Cary, North Carolina’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Monday, October 21 to raise funds for disaster relief efforts in the state. Simpson will donate all proceeds from the concert to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, which is helping communities recover from Hurricane Helene.
General on-sales for the special benefit concert begin on Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets will initially be available through a local venue pre-sale on Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m. ET. Purchase tickets via eTix.com.

Sturgill Simpson was originally slated to bring his Johnny Blue Skies Why Not? Tour to Asheville’s ExploreAsheville.com Arena on October 21. The show has been canceled due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. Refunds will be processed automatically to those who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster. Fans who bought tickets through other sources are urged to contact their point of purchase.
Simpson plans to announce a rescheduled date in Asheville. Priority access for tickets will be given to those fans who held tickets for the original date.
The Why Not? Tour continues tonight, October 4 in Brandon, Mississippi. Simpson already had a date on the books, October 22, to play Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Official live recordings of Sturgill Simpson’s Johnny Blues Skies Why Not Tour? can be streamed and downloaded via nugs.net.
