Stream This | The Art Of McCartney Tribute Album

An impressive roster of musical acts have contributed Paul McCartney covers to a long-in-the-making tribute to Macca dubbed The Art Of McCartney that’s due on Tuesday and is available for streaming below. Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Dr. John, Roger Daltrey, Toots Hibbert, Willie Nelson and Brian Wilson are just a few of the performers who lent their talents to the album.

Producer Ralph Sall started putting together the project 11 years ago when he worked with McCartney to revive a song from the Ram sessions for a movie soundtrack. Sall came up with the idea and received Paul’s blessing. He then enlisted the members of McCartney’s incredible touring band to back the likes of Dylan, Joel, Daltrey and Nelson as they recorded songs from Paul’s time in The Beatles and Wings as well as his solo career. The album is currently available for pre-order in both digital and physical formats.
