Later this month Phish will release a new box set called Amsterdam featuring official recordings of the three shows the Vermont quartet played at Paradiso in Amsterdam back in 1997. Today, the band has shared another taste of the box set.

This afternoon’s sample of Amsterdam is the 13-minute “Maze” Phish laid down on July 2, 1997 at the Paradiso. While not quite as exploratory as the three tracks from Amsterdam Phish shared last month, the “Maze” is another example of just how crispy the Amsterdam recordings are and how tight the quartet was in that phase of their career.
