The Rolling Stones recorded the version of “Brown Sugar” found on Sticky Fingers in 1969 at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. When Mick Jagger & Co. assembled in December ’70 at Olympic Studios in England they recorded an alternate version of the tune featuring Clapton.
