Next week The Rolling Stones will reissue their iconic 1971 album Sticky Fingers that includes a generous selection of previously unavailable material contained within the Deluxe and Super Deluxe formats. Fans don’t need to wait until Tuesday, June 9 to hear one of the more anticipated unreleased tracks as The Stones have shared audio of “Brown Sugar” featuring Eric Clapton on slide guitar.

The Rolling Stones recorded the version of “Brown Sugar” found on Sticky Fingers in 1969 at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. When Mick Jagger & Co. assembled in December ’70 at Olympic Studios in England they recorded an alternate version of the tune featuring Clapton. While long bootlegged, the alternate version will finally get an official release next week. Take a listen to “Brown Sugar” with E.C. on slide guitar:
