By Team JamBase Jun 11, 2015 • 11:05 am PDT

On Wednesday night Steve Kimock finished a five-show residency at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California that saw the guitarist joined by various ensembles and many different guests. The residency started this past Friday night with a show that featured Kimock’s band of keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, bassist Bobby Vega and drummer Jay Lane joined by special guests Leslie Mendelson and Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz. Saturday’s second show saw more guest spots from Mendelson and Lebo with the same core band from Friday. On Sunday Sweetwater co-owner and Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir sat in with his old RatDog bandmates, Vega and Mendelson. The residency picked back up on Tuesday with a show that started with acoustic Kimock and eventually saw Steve joined by the likes of drummer Wally Ingram, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools. The same musicians and Leslie contributed to Wednesday night’s finale.
