Megadeth announced Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations, a European chapter of their multi-year global farewell headline tour. The 24-date arena run opens March 9, 2027 at The SSE Arena in Belfast and concludes April 13 at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal.
Black Label Society and Testament will serve as support for the entire outing. The tour includes stops throughout Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
“This isn’t about saying goodbye,” said frontman Dave Mustaine in a statement. “It’s about celebrating everything we’ve built together over the last four decades. Every city has its own story, every crowd has given us unforgettable memories, and we want to come back to celebrate that with the fans who made it all possible.”
“When we started talking about this tour, we wanted it to be a true celebration of metal. Black Label Society and Testament are bands we have tremendous respect for, and having them join us makes these shows even more special. This lineup represents decades of heavy music, and it’s going to be an incredible night for the fans,” Mustaine added.
Members of Megadeth’s Cyber Army fan club will get access to ticket and VIP Package presales beginning today. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 7.
