Amyl & The Sniffers Confirm New Live Album ‘Truth Or Consequence’

Australia’s Amyl and The Sniffers announced a live album Truth Or Consequence. The record arrives on September 4 through Virgin Music Group and is accompanied by a concert film.

The new live set/concert film documents Amyl and The Sniffers’ recent globetrotting tour which gained the Aussie punk quartet acclaim wherever they went.

Truth Or Consequence is “a live album and concert film that captures a spectacular country-fried romp through the band’s discography, alongside two previously unreleased tracks as well as a cover of the Slim Dusty classic, ‘Lights On The Hill,'” as per press materials.

Longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart had the cameras rolling to capture Amyl and The Sniffers’ concert at the El Coyote in Los Angeles, where the band offered countrified versions of their songs. The concert film is set to hit theaters outside the United States beginning August 27 with U.S. theatrical dates coming soon. More screening info.
