Soulive & Dr. John Among Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World 2016 Performers

While Louis Armstrong was born and bred in New Orleans, he spent nearly 30 years living in the New York City borough of Queens. Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World, a music festival that celebrates his legacy, will take place near his old stomping grounds at NYC’s Flushing Corona Meadows Park Saturday, July 16.

The event’s main stage will feature performances from Dr. John, Soulive and Kermit Ruffins. A diverse set of local acts with international flair will round out the lineup keeping with Armstrong’s mantra of “you gotta listen to all types of music.” Registration is open now for tickets to the free festival.
