‘Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles’ With Brittany Howard, Leon Bridges & Others Webcast

On Wednesday, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will host the Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles: In Performance At The White House live concert event n honor of the renowned late musician Ray Charles. The 16th installment of the In Performance At The White House series will be streamed live featuring performances by Leon Bridges, Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard and many others.
Also paying tribute to Ray Charles along with Howard and Bridges will be Yolanda Adams, Andra Day, Anthony Hamilton, Demi Lovato, Sam Moore, Jussie Smollett, The Band Perry and Usher. Rickey Minor will be on hand as executive music director of the program. The concert event will be webcast live at WhiteHouse.gov/live starting at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 24.
