Soul-rock singer will release a new studio album entitled Gold on October 12 via Thirty Tigers. Sister Sparrow will support the LP with a series of U.S. tour dates.

Vocalist Arleigh Kincheloe, a.k.a. Sister Sparrow, worked with producer and co-writer Carter Matschullat on Gold at Brooklyn’s DØØM Studio. The album’s first single, “Ghost,” is due on August 3. Gold is said to take the “classic Dirty Birds sound and turns it into something altogether new, a soul-blasted contemporary pop approach supremely suited for Kincheloe’s immense voice and even greater vision,” as per materials announcing the forthcoming record.
