After Sierra Ferrell opened most dates of Post Malone's Big Ass Stadium Tour earlier this year, the current Utah resident repaid the favor last night in Salt Lake City. Ferrell brought out Posty for a tender duet during her concert at Library Square and he returned later in the evening to show off his drumming skills.
The Big Ass Stadium Tour began on April 29 at Salt Lake City's massive Rice-Eccles Stadium. Area fans were treated to a much more intimate Sierra Ferrell performance on Thursday.
In 2024, Post Malone recruited Sierra Ferrell to add her signature vocals to “Never Love You Again,” a song featured on his Grammy-nominated country album, F-1 Trillion. The pair performed the beautiful ballad at Rice-Eccles Stadium and at seven other stops of The Big Ass Stadium Tour.
Post Malone emerged while smoking a cigarette to a rousing reception from the crowd in his adopted home state last night, towards the middle of Ferrell’s headlining set at Library Square. Malone and Ferrell joined forces, accompanied by Sierra’s band, for a crowd-pleasing “Never Love You Again” performance.
Sierra Ferrell and Post Malone shared a single mic for the duet. The pair danced around the stage as Malone held a drink in his hand.
Ferrell went on to finish her 21-song main set with “Fox Hunt,” the lead single from her 2023 LP, Trail Of Flowers. Post Malone came back out to bang on a bass drum while smoking a cigarette.

Sierra Ferrell said farewell to the Salt Lake City crowd by covering Kris Kristofferson’s “Me And Bobby McGee” and performing “In Dreams” from 2021’s Long Time Coming as her two-song encore.
