Third Man Records mastermind Jack White wouldn’t let a severely injured ankle stop him from taking the stage last night for the second show of a two-night stand at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco after he covered Beck on Night One.

The label’s Instagram account posted this photo of White’s bum ankle with the caption, “Jack White sprained his ankle last night on stage in San Francisco. The camp is pressuring Jack to postpone the rest of the tour but Jack wants the show to go on tonight. See you tonight at the Bill Graham Civic. #downbutnotout #round2 #jackwhite #lazaretto #thirdmanrecords #sprainedankle.” White mixed material from his two solo albums with tunes from his time in The White Stripes, Dead Weather, The Raconteurs as well as a handful of covers for his Bay Area finale. He even dedicated a cover of Clouddead’s “Dead Dogs Two” to the Oakland Athletics baseball team and worked portions of The Police’s “Message In A Bottle” into “Steady, As She Goes.”

The tour is expected to continue tomorrow night in Seattle.
