Jeff Goldblum is an idiosyncratic talent. While he may be best known for his roles in classic films like Jurassic Park and Independence Day, the Hollywood A-Lister is also an accomplished pianist, regularly hosting improvisational jazz shows in Los Angeles with his jazz band, . This past weekend, the actor showed off his music skills during a set at England’s world-renowned Glastonbury Festival.
For the performance, Goldblum and company were joined Sharon Van Etten, who sat in for a take on the jazz standard “Let’s Face The Music And Dance.” Van Etten led the sultry vocals on the 1936 Irving Berlin-penned tune, while Goldblum offered a tasteful piano accompaniment. Notably, during the performance, the actor and bandleader also announced that his group is recording their second studio album and Van Etten will appear as a special guest on the record alongside a number of other collaborators.

As Goldblum noted in a statement about his forthcoming LP:
Getting to do another album with the sweet, sweet, enchanted elves and sprites from Decca has me floating on air, somebody please pinch me (ow, not so hard). I only hope that listeners feel what I felt when we made the record – an explosive release of ecstasy. It’s amazing to let the cat a bit out of the bag here at Glastonbury in the fleshy flesh!
