Sharon Jones Guests With Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band

Two of our favorite vocalists combined forces this past Friday night, when Sharon Jones sat in with Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band at Sky City in Augusta, GA.

The Booty Band’s Mary “Mama Funk” Frances traded verses with Ms. Jones on a cover “Everything I Do Gohn Be Funky” by Allen Toussaint, a song which was first recorded by Lee Dorsey. Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band shared video of the collaboration on their official YouTube channel. Take a look:
