San Francisco Giants To Honor 50 Years Of Grateful Dead

Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants have announced details of this year’s Grateful Dead Tribute Night, which celebrates 50 years of Grateful Dead. The Giants have revealed that members of the original band as well as a member of the Garcia family will be in attendance and will participate in special pre-game events before the Giants take on the Nationals on August 13 at AT&T Park. 
Ti cket packages include a ticket to the Thursday evening game versus the Nationals, and a collector’s-edition 50th Anniversary Grateful Dead-themed Giants item. The members of the band set to take part in the event haven’t been revealed as of yet. Proceeds from every special event ticket sold will be donated to various non-profits near and dear to the band’s heart.
